Cosplay
In addition to traditional games of all kinds, Midwest GameFest Online also features some great cosplay opportunities!

Online Convention Space
While our Fall in-person event is hosted in Kansas City, our Spring online event is hosted via Discord, a free text, audio, and video service. Discord is a web-based service that also has great desktop and mobile apps. You don't need anything more than the cell phone, tablet, or web browser you're using right now. There's nothing to download or hook up, but a mic and headset would be great. We use a number of online virtual tabletops (VTTs) including Roll20, Tabletop Simulator, and more (game hosts decide).
Cosplay Rules
We've put together some guidelines for cosplaying at Midwest GameFest Online. We want everyone to have a safe, secure experience and following these guidelines should help ensure that for everyone. Check out our Cosplay Policy for details.
Badges Required
All Midwest GameFest Online cosplay event participants are required to have a badge for the days they attend. Badges are available for single days and the entire weekend. If you are interested in volunteering at Midwest GameFest Online to help offset the cost of admission, please check out our Volunteers page for discount information and to apply.
